December 8 2007 - Vnese

“Học IT mà sao mày đi kinh doanh?”

Than ôi, chán ghê chừng là chán. Thôi than vãn đủ rồi, quay trở lại thực tế với cái đồ án cái đã, kẻo mai không có cái gì mà báo cáo, rồi nguy cơ “chăn bò” sau đó là cao lắm á…..

October 30 2008 - Vnese

October 26 2007 - MT05KSTN picnic

Started an idea after ending 3rd darn mid-term exam, we did gather together for "xa xui". Then Van Thanh tourist center was the best place for all of us to relax there. The day before that day, I myself as well as Thao, Thu and Britney did have a small discussion on what we were going to prepare for the picnic. Then, the schedule has been raised. ---------- Nearly 32 members gathered in front of the main gate of HCMUT - the first arrival.

Then "It's time to go guys"

What we did there at the beginning was to enjoy the very awesome game called "Getting to know". After that game, 3 impressive people were selected to receive gifts from organizers ^_^.

Baby, your name is Le Tran Minh Huy, as your father named you. do you know that tomorrow is your father's birthday? He, as well as your Mum, must be the happiest people in this world these days. And you know, being a new member in our family, I hope you will raise this family's name higher than me. What i couldn't do in my childhood, i believe that you can do your best and better than me. What I will do in the future, I hope that you will do better than me. Welcome you to my family (eventhough it means that I'm not the youngest member anymore - have no chance to snivel any more ^_^) And my brother, I believe that under your arm, Minh Huy will be a very good person. September 22 2007

Got stressed these days.
Lonely feeling.
Days by days, feeling depressed without anyone to share, even a stranger to talk to.
People have their own stuffs to care for.
Everyday, facing with 4 walls and a dark shadow.
Thank you guys who took me to the bar tonight for me to relieve myself.
I did shout, shout loud in that bar under the tempo of heavy metal rock.
Thank you guys for listening to what I said and being the ones for me to talk to when I were down these days.
Thank you guys for drinking Heineken with me (that I never use under semester).
Thank you guys for shouting with me...

September 2 2007

"Dear Miss Ngo Phuong Lan, here is the question for you", MC Anh Tuan smiled at her, "According to you, why do all the activities of Miss usually connect with social activities and charity?"

"... From the beginning till now, the beauty of ladies, especially Vietnam lady, always connects with the Good. The True, the Good, and the Beautiful are always the best noble characters of Vietnam ladies. So, there is no better way than those activities to reflect those noble virtues the most..."

example

That very good respond did bring back the crown for Miss Ngo Phuong Lan, the Vietnamese Swiss student in 20, at the very first Miss Vietnam World Contest 2007, which was held on Vinpearlland - Nha Trang tourist city.

-----------------------------------

example

Never did I have such a chance like I had last night to attend in the Contest like this in my hometown (of course I couldn't afford the cost for the more-than-600000VND ticket, my brother's friend gave it to me... he he he).

example

37 fabulous flowers who were selected from more than 4000 Vietnam beautiful contestants around the world gathered at Vinpearlland resort on the island of Nha Trang Bay for the final contest.

37 contestants had to take 3 rows in that final night before the board selected 5 most wonderful roses for the most tough part - "Answering the question or behavior" : "banquet dress" part, "Swimsuit" part, and "Ao dai" part.

example

example

The first and second runners-up were Teressa Sam from the UK and Dang Minh Thu, a Vietnamese student from northern province of Nam Dinh, respectively.

The coronation of Ngo Phuong Lan to be Miss Vietnam World 2007 was held ceremonially on the background of Vietnam ancient court.

example

The contest, which was first held and sponsored by Tienphong newspaper, Thanhnien newspaper, VTV and Vinpearl, did bequeath many impressive feelings in many Vietnam people. That contest as well as any other contests more and more insist the beauty and noble virtues of Vietnam people , especially Vietnam ladies, in the world. They are bridges that will connect Vietnam cultures with the world's cultures, and popularize Vietnam images in the world.

----------------------------------------------------

P/s:

Mom, you are the most fabulous person in my mind.

And baby, you are the most wonderful Miss Vietnam World in my heart.

Wherever and whenever.........

August 24 2007 - Pleyku trip

It’s late but not too late to post something about my back-packing trip to Pleiku-Gia Lai last few days.

Waking up in the morning after the very first exhausted day coming to Pleiku, I decide to buy a map of Pleiku first. There is a large bookstore on the corner of Hung Vuong and Quang Trung str, and it took me 10.000VND for a tourist map of Gia Lai province. Having breakfast and coming back to the hotel, I had a talk with some hotel’s servers there. They did show me some beautiful and popular Gia Lai’s landscapes to visit. Yah, with a camera, a motorbike, a cap, a helmet, a map, a pen, some money ….. and that’s it!

IALY hydropower plant:

Nearly 30’ riding to the North of Gia Lai province, up to 50km from Pleiku, finally I found the main gate of IALY hydropower plant. Actually, the sight here is so so so imposing and impressive. As you know (or not, but right now), This popular IALY fall, now being superseded by the beauty of barrage, spillway, and a huge lake in neglected and imposing Central highland forest. With the area is about 64,5km2, IALY hydropower plant was constructed on SESAN river, in ChuPak commune. This is the second national main construction behind Hoa Binh hydropower plant on Da river.

Luckily, there are nealy 6 ppl from Northern military waiting for their bus to get them to inside (there is 10km far from the IALY main gate to the IALY hydropower plant, and you are not allowed to get inside by bike, you must visit by your own car, or rent their bus - which charges you about 200.000VND for kind of 15-seats bus – to move on). So parking my bike and getting in to their renting bus in order to go to the plant, I have to pay 10.000VND for the ticket of visiting. The landscape on the way to he plant is so awesome. The bus took us along the mountain side. In the bus, I can enjoy IALY fall and SESAN river so closed, as well as imposing nature here. The fog covered heavily.

15 minutes later, we came to our destination and put our very first step inside the plant. Walking along the tunnel, and then we approached 4 turbins which manufacture a huge electricity for the Central Highland and the South.

500KVA Pleiku transformer station:

On the way coming back from IALY fall to Pleiku, I received a call from my brother. Knowing that I was there, he invited me to drop by his work station for visit him. The station is 30km far from Pleiku in the North, and no one could get into this place without any permission except electric workers, experts and the one who are sponsored. It’s one of the 4 largest 500KVA transformer stations in Vietnam.

Then coming back to the city, I got some drink with my brother’s colleagues .

Bien lake:

My last day at Pleiku started with a trip to Bien lake. 8km far from the north of Pleiku, Bien lake – or To Nuenh lake – is a huge lake on the crater which stopped working million of years ago. People here admire it as if it’s a gem of pleiku and Central highland. By the way, I think it definitely looks like Tuyen Lam lake at Da Lat city, but still like a virgin without any touch of human hand. Awesome sight!

Ethnic villages:

They are the typical symbols of central highland. There are about 6 villages around Pleiku, and I had a chance to visit 2 famous ones: Pleiop and Pleingol villages. It was the first time – and one of my awesome time – to see what I have never and ever seen in any where else. What I learnt in textbook before, now appeared in front of my eye in turn. And I like Nha Rong the most.

Pleiku jail:

It’s in the center of the city, about 300m far from provincial post office. Was constructed in French domination time, this place was used to detain our patriots in the anti-french and anti-American resistance war. Now it is considered to be a historical monument.

Dien Hong park:

Like a small clone of Dam Sen part in Sai Gon, it was such a disappointed place I have ever visited: fake, boring … One recommendation: shouldn’t put your step on this place. I’ve heard that there is one more awesome park in pleiku, but what a pity I have no time to enjoy more there.

End a trip to Pleiku, I have to come back sooner than expected bacause of my politics week in my university.

I think if this provincial government don’t come up with policies for developing tourist there fastly, all central highland’s traditional beauties here will be destroyed intentionally or indeliberately .

One more thing I want to recommend those who want to visit here: the cost for hotel is so cheap, but the cost for food and means of communication are expensive (like the price in Da Lat or Sai Gon as well). And have a back-packing trip here with friends is better than going here alone (more convenient for you, not because of this place’s security).

August 23 2007 - Pleyku trip

Yeah, I’m at Pleiku typing these words to review this very first day at highland. Feel so so cool now, I like this weather a lot. Pleiku is just a small city and the chief town of Gia Lai province. It’s 450km far from Nha Trang city and 800m above sea level.

Waking up at 6am, I packed some needed stuffs, then went with my brother to the departure. Our group this journey is 9 ppl including me and a driver. Then after checking some devices for their business, we started at 8am. Dropping by Quan Gio restaurant 30km far from Nha Trang, we had a delicious spagetty and a cup of coffee for each. Then the journey is truly started. The surface of the road on the way coming to pleiku is not good enough. I definitely feel excited that time on the bus. While everybody on the bus were taking a nap, I enjoyed a view from the bus window. Everything seemed weird to me, absolutely weird. Those knowledge I learnt in textbook when I was young, now appeared in front of me in turn: terraced fields, rubber forests, coffee forests, pepper forests… I took a lot of pictures. Maybe you think that I’m insane, what’s interesting there that appealed me so much like that. But to a person who lives in an urban like me, that’s awesome, I myself found out another beauties of our parts of our country.

There was one more thing that was interesting on the way going there. When we had lunch at krongpuk Commune ( Daklak Province), a woodpecker pecked our bus’s front window, and created a tiny hole. Then he got into our bus and took a nap there until we found him and he flied away after pecking another tiny hole… Oh man, he was so fast… What a woodpecker! ^_^

We came to Pleiku at nearly 4pm, then had some check-in procedures at Thai Binh hotel on Hai Ba Trung street. Guess what, it’s the only hotel which has wireless internet connection in Pleiku, but man, without any air-conditioner at all. We took a bath, then hanged out for dinner. But it’s ridiculous. There is no foreigners on the street, not even in downtown.

At night, this city is deserted. We got out our hotel at 7:30pm and just a few ppl outside. But I like weather here, the weather is a little bit cold and foggy like Da Lat eventhough it’s not as high as Da Lat. My brother’s friends picked us up to a coffee shop Hoang Nhat on Nguyen Du street. Coffee flavor here is same like in Nha Trang, and so is its style. Then I asked the man named “Son” for some tourist places here. Guess what, the answers did upset me a lot. He said that Pleiku’s government does pay much passion on tourist field here, so they don’t have any policies to improve and to enhance infrastructure here. There is no recreation center at all. More terrible, these traditional cultures about citizens and this race aren’t preserved like in Ban Me Thuoc and da Lat. So I understand thoroughly the reason why this place is so so poor like this, and not any foreigners on the street al all. What a pity for one of the most important areas that have many policies to shorten rich-poor distance for people here. So sad.

Tomorrow my brother’s friend will give me his motorbike sothat it’s easier for me to make a tour here. I need a map. So I’ll update everything tomorrow huh. Yeah, tired, need some sleep. I’m living in this room, and 2 of three are having a tight sleep, the last one is blogging (hi hi)… Now, let’s go to sleep.

P/s: damn the wireless network connection… it drived me to crazy since I came here. How could it be like this (I mean lúc thì có lúc thì không) in this single hotel that has wireless connection.. grrrrrr… Holy crap.

Thesis statement:”Your feeling after watching the film Alexander Great Emperor on Star Movie channel this night?”

When I was a little boy, my father used to reward me whenever I have any 10-marks examinations after school. I did remembered one time, I had a passion for the book talking about the histories of the world class Kings and Emperors, including Alexander. Until this night I had such a chance to watch and to know thoroughly about the real life and achievements of one of the greatest characters in the world, both in Medieval, Renaissance and current times. He is Emperor Alexander – who was considered “The son of Zeus”.

As the son of Queen Olympos and a humble guy, he was such a bastard prince who received much affection from the great King Philips. Being under the draconian education at the beginning, he grew up with the bloodstream of brave and strong Greek warriors inside. At the age of 8, he affirmed himself to his Majesty and Metadonia people while trying to tame a wild horse that no one dare to touch. Then, with an upright and strong characteristic, he himself contradicted an accusation of his bloodstream before all the courtiers of the loyal, and before his King’s weeding ceremony with another lady. Moreover, he was influenced by his mother’s conspiracies, the lady who was ambitious and so much love him.

He was honored to be the King of Metadonia in front of many people’s sneers about his father and the king Philips’ assassination, which was believed to be supported by the Queen Olympos. Nurturing his King Philips’ ambition to expand Greek territory, he and Metadonia troops started the expeditionary to Asia countries. All the victories at battles of Persia, Babylon, Arabia, a part of India as well as any other races in the Northern days by days distinguished his image in the world.

If I was him, I wouldn’t come up with that terribly fatal mistake at Southern India to hold the battle to invade the rest of India and worked against courtiers’ dissuasions, that led to the very first failure and the last battle of Great Emperor Alexander. He was injured in that battle, and was poisoned by his very close courtiers after that at Babylon’s palace. After his death, Europe and Asia, which had been unified by his expeditionary for years, now were divided and were commanded by many generals in his dynasty. Greek monarchy was disintegrated since then.

Alexander Great Emperor, who nurtured to unify Europe and Asia into one with the famous saying:”One Asia couldn’t have 2 kings” and “Let’s fight! Zeus is upon us”, was proved to the world about the great, brave and strong Greek race, about ambitious and enterprising typical dared to better himself in this huge world with very difficult beginning. On the contrary, some of teenagers and youths nowadays live in the lap of luxury and rich, but they are so feeble and weak, they just depend on their parents’ effort and money for just few recreation, corruption and social evils. Very shameful!

All memories and images about Alexander great Emperor will never fade in my mind. He’s one of the typical simples for me to try my best for my target, my future, and my promise to one person on the other side of the globe.

Dare to live, dare to do what you think is good for you, dare to affirm yourself, then you’ll get good results.

Thesis statement: “Should sex education been taught in middle school and highschool?”

-------------------

Definition of sex : 1. male and female.

2. the action of having sex and orgasm (used in this essay)

------------------

In recent years, sex education project has always been being planned and argued by many members of Vietnam Congress. Some people consider that Sex science and education should be fostered to be a subject taught in lower-level school, while the rest votes for the contrary. If the project is brought out to collect suggestions from national people, I will set 1 point for the right side.

As you have already known, Vietnam, in annual report from United Nation and WHO, is declared to be one of the countries that has the highest abortion rate in the world. The infection rate with HIV as well as any other diseases, which are infected via sex intercourse, is on the top of the world. The report showed that it mainly focuses on people from 20 to 25, but tends to occur commonly in teenagers and youths. One reason could explain for this state is that Vietnamese people lack of knowledge and information about sex. In class, just some initial theories about sex have been taught in middleschool and high school like: what is the difference between a man and a woman, the procedure inside men and women…. That’s just an academic thinking, that’s all nonsense. We need something that is truly helpful for us. In class, teachers themselves feel shy while teaching this knowledge to students and pupils. Parents prohibit their children to ask questions about sex. Those means of communication wouldn’t post any lines of sex knowledge to readers because they think that “we have our custom, we should… should…“ how can we learn and get knowledge about sex, as well as the way to protect ourselves from diseases in this way, in this society with all out-dated thinking of the obsolete generation?

Moreover, as the flow of Western and Europe cultures to Asia countries keeps going, people nowadays feel opened about sex and having sex. Hence, the ratio of having sex intercourse before getting married is increasing severely days after days, inspire of those attentions from newspapers and community. Without knowledge of sex, how can they protect themselves while coping with those kinds of temptation? Thus, the high rate of abortion is then easy to understand. The more we appreciate some of our out-fashioned custom, and think that it’s not necessary to impulse sex education in class, the more those troubles persist and increase steadily. Many people cling to the belief that it would loosely show them how to practice it in real life if sex science is impulsed to be taught in class. But it’s better to show it to them than to hide it away and let them discover themselves. In US and other foreign countries, sex education is enforced to be one subject in middle school, like Physics and Maths as well. Students and teachers feel free to talk about it in class along with in community. Then after those classes, they feel themselves more confident about sex knowledge as well as some per control methods, even the rate of having sex before getting married redundancy is high, but on the contrary, the rate of infection by some dangerous diseases as well as the rate of abortion is fairly low. Then you yourself can evaluate which solution is the best for your community.

Consequently, sex nowadays is no longer a sensitive or tough field to talk and to discuss in community. All the members of national Congress should think of it carefully, and come up with the best decision for their teenagers and youths. We should leave some of our out-dated custom and tradition behind, and think in an opened-way to contribute for the new, healthy and prosperous generation.

Thesis statement: “Evaluate the influence of tourist industry to your country and society”.

Nature has favoured Vietnam with so many natural as well as man-made landscapes. Then there is nothing to surprise that Vietnam is one of the most favorite tourist destinations of the new millenium. The government along with national party have been transforming the country’s appearance sothat it would appeal more people to visit Vietnam, and to enhance Vietnam to be one of the best images in the world. In the opinion of the country citizen, I would like to raise strong points as well as weak points to illustrate for what tourist industry has affected to our country.

Obviously, all the Vietnamese who live in, or oversea compariots coming back this country have a great impression that Vietnam’s economics has made great strides, with an important role of tourist industry. Vietnam many years ago just a small agricultural country based a lot on importing foods and subsidized aids from many countries outside. In the last few years, our national government, with opened polices, had put some enforcements that allow many private enterprise companies in and out-come to invest into home country industry. Hence, a huge of invested capital flowed to tourist industry – the strongest point of Vietnam. The tourist industry developed, then it enhanced another industrial fields to develop themselves to approach the need of the tourist industry. Thus, it contributes a lot of benefit to the national budget.

Moreovers, the tourist industry, which has been enforced by policies, has changed the face of the city and the country. A lot of pulluted plants were moved to another place, far away from downtown and urban cities. Environmental sanitation has been improved and ameliorated. Some transportation has been prohibited or limited in order to leave the peace and quite for the tourist city. Infra and superstructure have been projected. The other non-smoke services have been enhanced to approach the need of travellers and citizens.

Furthermore, the tourist industry also contributes to the national policies to creat more job vacancies for nearly 120 millions of Vietnamese people. Like what I mentioned before, the tourist industry enhances many other industrial fields to get benefit from it, they were set up and flourished themselves via investment overseas , many factories were established. Thus, they themselves need more and more workers as well as many experts devote for the development of the city and the country.

Nevertheless, the tourist industry, which is flourishing days after days, has left behind its dark side. Under the process altering the infrastructure and superstructure, we indeliberately or intentionally destroy the nature so far. Many forests, many valuable and rare kinds of tree and aminals have been exterminated. Many range of mountains and hills have been rased to leave the land for other purposes – mostly just for the entertainment and for some projects of tourist. Besides that, the environment was also polluted by the very bad sense of travellers.

On the other hand, the tourist industry, without undercontrol of the government, easily creats along with it many bad social behaviours and evils. In some of famous tourist city in Vietnam, we easily see citizens there invite travellers to by some goods with insistence, or bother them to ask for money… service providers leave prestige and human safety behind, they just think about money, any work for benefit. The price increases terribly on occasion and vacation. Defraudation and argument usually happen at the tourist center. How can foreigners come back to visit our country if this state still exists and tend to increase these days?

Consequently, evrything has its bright as well as dark side. The point here is that our national government must impulse the law and policies to control the tourist industry, as well as the citizens have to alter their sense, in order to promote Vietnam to be one of the best tourist image all over the world.

August 01 2007

This morning, I received a website from my friend, which could infer our characteristics and our career throughout a nearly-30-questions multiple-choice test. After finishing that test, the site give out the line with only 4 letters "ESTJ". Searching www.personalitypage.com with those 4 letters, it gave out my type of person like this:

-------------------------------------------------------------
Portrait of an ESTJ

The Guardian

As an ESTJ, your primary mode of living is focused externally, where you deal with things rationally and logically. Your secondary mode is internal, where you take things in via your five senses in a literal, concrete fashion.

ESTJs live in a world of facts and concrete needs. They live in the present, with their eye constantly scanning their personal environment to make sure that everything is running smoothly and systematically. They honor traditions and laws, and have a clear set of standards and beliefs. They expect the same of others, and have no patience or understanding of individuals who do not value these systems. They value competence and efficiency, and like to see quick results for their efforts.

ESTJs are take-charge people. They have such a clear vision of the way that things should be, that they naturally step into leadership roles. They are self-confident and aggressive. They are extremely talented at devising systems and plans for action, and at being able to see what steps need to be taken to complete a specific task. They can sometimes be very demanding and critical, because they have such strongly held beliefs, and are likely to express themselves without reserve if they feel someone isn't meeting their standards. But at least their expressions can be taken at face-value, because the ESTJ is extremely straight-forward and honest.

The ESTJ is usually a model citizen, and pillar of the community. He or she takes their commitments seriously, and follows their own standards of "good citizenship" to the letter. ESTJ enjoys interacting with people, and likes to have fun. ESTJs can be very boisterous and fun at social events, especially activities which are focused on the family, community, or work.

The ESTJ needs to watch out for the tendency to be too rigid, and to become overly detail-oriented. Since they put a lot of weight in their own beliefs, it's important that they remember to value other people's input and opinions. If they neglect their Feeling side, they may have a problem with fulfilling other's needs for intimacy, and may unknowingly hurt people's feelings by applying logic and reason to situations which demand more emotional sensitivity.

When bogged down by stress, an ESTJ often feels isolated from others. They feel as if they are misunderstood and undervalued, and that their efforts are taken for granted. Although normally the ESTJ is very verbal and doesn't have any problem expressing themself, when under stress they have a hard time putting their feelings into words and communicating them to others.

ESTJs value security and social order above all else, and feel obligated to do all that they can to enhance and promote these goals. They will mow the lawn, vote, join the PTA, attend home owners association meetings, and generally do anything that they can to promote personal and social security.

The ESTJ puts forth a lot of effort in almost everything that they do. They will do everything that they think should be done in their job, marriage, and community with a good amount of energy. He or she is conscientious, practical, realistic, and dependable. While the ESTJ will dutifully do everything that is important to work towards a particular cause or goal, they might not naturally see or value the importance of goals which are outside of their practical scope. However, if the ESTJ is able to see the relevance of such goals to practical concerns, you can bet that they'll put every effort into understanding them and incorporating them into their quest for clarity and security.

Jungian functional preference ordering:

Dominant: Extraverted Thinking
Auxiliary: Introverted Sensing
Tertiary: Extraverted Intuition
Inferior: Introverted Feeling

---------------------------------------------------------------
Personality and Relationships

ESTJ Relationships

ESTJs are very enthusiastic people who are driven to fulfill their obligations and duties, especially those towards their families. Their priorities generally put God first, family second, and friends third. They put forth a tremendous amount of effort to meet their obligations and duties, according to their priorities. They are dedicated and committed to their relationships, which they consider to be lifelong and unalterable. They like to be in charge, and may be very controlling of their mates and children. They have high esteem for traditions and institutions, and expect that their mates and children will support these as well. They have little patience and need for dealing with people who see things very differently from the ESTJ.

ESTJ Strengths

* Generally enthusiastic, upbeat and friendly
* Stable and dependable, they can be counted on to promote security for their families
* Put forth a lot of effort to fulfill their duties and obligations
* Responsible about taking care of day-to-day practical concerns around the house
* Usually good (albeit conservative) with money
* Not personally threatened by conflict or criticism
* Interested in resolving conflict, rather than ignoring it
* Take their commitments very seriously, and seek lifelong relationships
* Able to move on after a relationship breaks up
* Able to administer discipline when necessary

ESTJ Weaknesses

* Tendency to believe that they are always right
* Tendency to need to always be in charge
* Impatient with inefficiency and sloppiness
* Not naturally in tune with what others are feeling
* Not naturally good at expressing their feelings and emotions
* May inadvertantly hurt others with insensitive language
* Tendency to be materialistic and status-conscious
* Generally uncomfortable with change, and moving into new territories

ESTJs as Lovers
"To love means to open ourselves to the negative as well as the positive - to grief, sorrow, and disappointment as well as to joy, fulfillment, and an intensity of consciousness we did not know was possible before." -- Rollo May

When an ESTJ says "I do", you can bet that they will put forth a tremendous amount of effort and energy into fulfilling their commitment to the relationship. They seek stability and security in their lives, and once they have made a commitment, it is lifelong and unalterable. They bring with them into the relationship a strong and dependable nature, which is oriented in traditions and security. They are highly energetic people, who never seem to lose their energy when performing duties and fulfilling obligations.

ESTJs usually feel very strongly that they are right and that if everyone else would listen carefully to what the ESTJ has to say, then they would understand the way things really are, and the world would be a better place. Such a strong, confident self-image is an asset in many ways, but can also be a detriment in close interpersonal relationships, if the ESTJ's mate does not feel valued for their contributions as an individual. This is a potential pitfall for ESTJs, who should try to be aware of the fact that other people have things to offer, even if they do not exactly follow the ESTJ's way of thinking. If it's not possible to do this on a larger scale, the ESTJ should perhaps focus on this area with respect to their partner's contributions.

Sexually, the ESTJ is likely to be robust, enthusiastic, and athletic. They will tend to be traditional, and to expect sexual encounters on a relatively scheduled basis. They're likely to approach intimacy as a physical experience of closeness, rather than as an opportunity to express and receive expressions of love and affection. The ESTJ will probably have to work on remembering to express their feelings verbally, but their mate's appreciation will make it well worth it for those who do.

In many ways, ESTJs are Guardians and Protectors by nature. They enjoy shielding and protecting their families, and are usually quite good at it. Their partners will appreciate and enjoy the benefits of the ESTJ's efforts in this respect, but they may also resent the more controlling aspects of the ESTJ's personality, which goes along with their strong desire to shield their loved-ones. The ESTJ may consider it their duty to instruct their spouses how to behave or what attitude to take in certain situations, which may not be appreciated.

Conversely, the ESTJ freely gives approval and affirmation when they are happy or impressed with their mate's behavior. Whether positive or negative, the ESTJ's expression can be taken at face value, because these individuals are very honest and forthright about how the feel.

ESTJs enjoy spending time with others socializing, and are likely to strongly desire that their partners also take part in these social activities. They are especially interested in any event which is associated with the family, work, or any organization which the ESTJ is part of. Since they are social creatures, they're likely to bring an emphasis on socializing to the relationship - but only after all of their work is done.

ESTJs are not naturally in tune with what others are feeling, and they may even tend to be very unobservant in these respects. This can cause problems with mates who have a Feeling preference, who may feel hurt or neglected by the ESTJ. If these feelings are pointed out to the ESTJ as an important dynamic of the relationship, rather than harbored internally by the Feeler, the ESTJ is likely to attempt to be more aware of their mate's feelings and emotions.

The ESTJ gladly performs their duties in life, and wants to be appreciated for doing so. This is the greatest gift that their mates can give them - gratitude.

Although two well-developed individuals of any type can enjoy a healthy relationship, ESTJ's natural partner is the ISTP, or the INTP. ESTJ's dominant function of Extraverted Thinking is best matched with someone whose dominant function is Introverted Thinking. The ESTJ/ISTP combination is deal because it also shared the Sensing way of perceiving the world, but the ESTJ/INTP combination is also quite good. How did we arrive at this?

ESTJs as Parents
"You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth...

Let your bending in the archer's hand be for gladness;
For even as He loves the arrow that flies,
so He loves also the bow that is stable." -- Kahlil Gibran

ESTJs take their parenting responsibilities seriously, and enjoy the roles and duties which they are consequently presented with. The ESTJ sees parenthood as a natural state, and welcomes the opportunity to fulfill their basic obligation to pass on their genes, and to raise children to be responsible, independent adults.

ESTJs usually expect that parents should be parents, and children should be children. There is likely to be that parent-child barrier between the ESTJ and their kids, and they are likely to expect that their children will treat them with respect and honor. They will have no patience for extreme deviation from this basic rule.

ESTJs also do not have much tolerance for inefficiency or messiness. They dislike to see mistakes repeated. Consequently, ESTJ parents may have a difficult time with their children who have Intuitive or Perceiving preferences. They are extremely practical, and have no understanding or value for the creative imaginations of highly Intuitive children. They will also have little patience with the unstructured, "go with the flow" attitude of their Perceiving children. This impatience with other types is a potential downfall for the ESTJ which may manifest itself in an ugly way if the rift occurs with their own children. The ESTJ should remember that what is right for them is not necessarily right for their children.

Whatever difficulties an ESTJ may experience with their child, they will always accept that child back as their own. They are strongly driven to fulfill their duties, and see parenting as one of these "must do" obligations.

Children of the ESTJ will usually remember them as dependable, reliable, strict, traditional, and always willing to sacrifice themself for the sake of their children.

ESTJs as Friends

Although ESTJs typically put their family above their friends, they do enjoy and value their friendships. They enjoy having fun and spending time with others, especially those who share their interests and pursuits. They are likely to choose to spend free time with friends pursuing some activity or hobby - probably athletic or sports-oriented. They're likely to socialize quite a bit with their own family members, and with people who belong to the same organization or institution as the ESTJ.

ESTJs are usually status-conscious, and will respect others who they feel have acheived a high degree of success in our society. Although ESTJs have very high standards for behavior, and believe that they know what is appropriate and best in any given situation, they're likely to be less controlling with those who they feel are powerful individuals.

ESTJs will have little patience with people who seem frivolous or extremely untraditional. Conversely, those who live entirely in the current moment (Sensing Perceivers) may not appreciate the ESTJ's strong judgments, which may seem overly traditional to them. ESTJs are likely to bond best with other ESTJ, or with people of any type, if they share a common interest or goal.

ESTJs tend to be enthusiastic, sharp, and witty. They like to hear good jokes, and enjoy telling them as well. They're valued by their friends for being dependable and upbeat, and easily engaged in various pursuits.

The ESTJ is generally very opinionated, and likes to appear authoritative and in charge. They may temper this tendency when around other ESTJs whom they value. Around other types, this tendency may cause them to be abrupt and direct, to the point where they inadvertantly step on people's toes.

July 31 2007 - Vnese

Lecture:

* · The american college experience,
* · How to spell urself as a celebrity in 3 minutes,
* · Psychology of Culture and Sexuality,
* · trends in Hip-Hop and Pop-music,
* · Economic Globalization at Work from Vn to US,
* · Of Mice and men’s story and Its world,
* · The social construction of gender,
* · Coping with Stress,Trauma and Depression,
* · What matters Today in the world of Business and Economics.

Seminar: study in US

* · Common Application Errors for the Vietnamese Applicant
* · Choose the right school for u.
* · Why do you want to attend School X in US
* · Making yourself Distinctive & Other important essay techniques
* · Some successful quanlities of Application essay topic

Các hoạt động ECA gồm có: talent show, Art Project, Scavenger Hunt, và Culture Night with the participation of All VNese and American members there.

----------

-------
P/s: Motong tội nghiệp nhớ an ủi chàng xinh nhiều nhiều nghe... hi hi hi... chàng còn phải cày đến 2 ngày weekend nữa lận ý..

July 06th 2007

Days by days you always ask me such a stupid question like that... It's freaking me out....
Have you ever want your family to be a penniless one?
If your answer is "No"... So am I a dimwit to say "yes" ?

It's okie, you say you have to try hard, and work very hard on your own to earn those sheets of money... I know, I highly appreciate that... But do you know that, I and my family have to work our fingers to the bone all day long to earn those little and valueless money to support for the life of 6 family members and 2 elderlies. We do try our best, but It's obviously that what we collect in one week couldn't compare with what you earn yourself in one weekend there... but have you ever realized that $1 is equivalent to more than VND16000, and with USD100 I could spend in haft a month here, like you spend just in one day there.

So what did I do wrong here when I'm dog-poor, and I'm poorer than you? Do you think that I'm happy to see any other people spend money like water, compared with my family try to work at full pressure to collect no more than one tenth of those sum of money per month?
....................
You know what? You hurt my pride... have you ever tried to think that I'm so painful, and I want to be the person who save my family out of that status... to earn as much money as possible to support for my family, for my mother could hold her head high with my those b*tchy aunts who looked down on our family just coz of money in their hands? for my father to be proud that he has such this son.... for my grand parent happily go to that heaven.... for proving to those b*tchy people (who give shitty themselves the right to look down to anyother people with a little bit sum of money) that they have to look back to themselves what they have to proud of... For the world to know that "Don't judge a man by his pocket..... You have to judge him by his ideals"
Let see what I can do.........

July 05th 2007 - VNese

----------------------
sau đây là luật chơi:
English Version
Each player starts with 7 random facts / habits about themselves. People who are tagged need to write on their own blog about their 7 things, as well as these rules. At the end of your blog, you need to tag 7 people and list their names. Don't forget to leave them a quick comment telling them that they've been tagged and to read your blog

Vietnamese version

.... e he he

6. Tự hào vì... hix... cái mình đang kém tự hào nhất: cho đến giờ vẫn lẹt đẹt chưa ngóc đầu lên nổi... Để coi tính toán sao chứ kiểu này dám mình cứ lẹt đẹt mãi lắm à nhen...

7. Hổng biết nghĩ ra cái gì nữa hết. Ai nghĩ ra thêm dùm mình cái nào.. hu hu hu
-----------------
Tiếp theo là 7 chiến sĩ đã anh dũng hy sinh cho mình tag: e he he he (mô phật, ai mà lỡ bị dính tag của nep rùi thì đừng có mà nguyền rủa nep nhé... chỉ là tình thế bắt buộc thôi mà...)hix
1. Titi... khà khà.. ưu tiên cho nằm đầu danh sách luôn đó.. cà hí. lo mà đỡ tag nhé.
4. Lilian: cái này tặng cho em đó, cái tội dám chặt heo anh... he he he
5. Cu trình: tao biết mày mà bị dính tag thế nào cũng lôi tao vô tag, cho nên thui sẵn đây tao tag mày trước để khỏi bị ăn tag của mày... he he he.... sorry nhé bé Trình gà...
6. Con xù: he he he.. lo viết cái này đi cu...
7. Anh Việt: em tag anh rùi đó...
Ặc, tag quá trời mà con dư 2 viên, hổng lẽ để thúi đạn, thui sẵn tiện tag luôn chi thỏ thỏ với cu Ivy League để khỏi bị ăn tag tiếp... hi hi

Xong, phẻ goài........
