Friends

Human is grown up thanks to the care, love and nurture of family, friendship and community. Besides family, friends are also one of the most important aspects that go along and help to characterize human features. One of my closest friend once said sarcastically that "One who can live without support and assistance of the others is just either talent or monster" . Her ridicule appears to be so nonsense, but franking said, it seems to be true in reality.
If you try spending a couple of minutes to have a look around, friends are all besides you, behind you and even in front of you. Those you might forget, those you've just known recently, those you willl know, even those who you had either bad or good childhood memories with you, or even those who have just stepped aside you, have left footprints on your way of life.
Thanks to social network, finding an old friend that we thought we lost them many years ago, or even making a new friend from the other side of the earth couldn't be easier than ever before. Many of us have over 100 friends on Facebook, and for most of us, these 100 friends are people that we really know, not just random people who added us on Facebook. But how many of us actually keep in contact with all 100 of them?
"Are you free to be with me for just a sec?" We usually give excuses for not being able to meet up with all of them like, "I'm too busy with something" or "let's just wait until the next holidays" or even " I'll make sure I'll organize the next outing" However, did that gathering ever take place? Look into the real you and ask: did that ever happen, or will it occur? Some will say yes, while the other large number will hesitate to say no, and I bet that's not a small number.
Therefore, while we all are stressful with those piles of daily works and stuffs, why don't we just stand still for a couple of minutes, take a deep breath, and try saying something to all those friends whom we haven't seen in a long time. As you read this, maybe you'd be reminded of some friends that you haven't met up with for while.
Maybe now would be a good time to call them out and catch up with each other over a cup of coffee. Maybe you would want to send them an email asking how they are doing now. You may want to do it in an old conventional way - to write a letter and ask about their lives. Maybe you would even want to drop some lines of regards into their cellphone. While you are at it, you may even want to bring them to somewhere to chill and relax, talk about old times as you laze around among the cushions and beanbags, or laugh over your silliness as you play games that are available. While some of you don't even have a minute to do those stuffs, why don't you just visit their Facebook profiles or Yahoo IM to and wish that they are doing well now, wherever they may be.
Maybe... maybe... you should start now.
Maybe... certainly...
